Assignment 2: the Calender

Theme: Easter

Statement: "He (Jesus) came to set me (a captive) free"

Genereal concept/Description: In the Christian community, Easter is celebrated as the ressurection of Jesus. Those who have a deeper understanding know that when Jesus died on the cross, He went down to hell to set spiritual slaves free, who - when they died - went to a palce called paradise, which - before Jesus' death and ressurection - was in hell. Now, when someone becomes a Christian, they are known to be spiritually set free from the bondage of Satan through the death and ressurection of Jesus Christ.

The process

This is my progress in developing my symbol. I only got to post this blog now because..well..let's just say I haven't had much luck with blogs until now..

If you want, you can give me your input on this. The reason I have two or more choices between evry reference is because I am a bit undecisive about which ones to use so I thought comments might help. They all work for me in he end as I have endless ideas for them (jus haven't had the time to scan) so il show them to you.
